Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

Union Public Service Commission is a Constitutional Body under Article 315-323 Part XIV Chapter II of the Constitution of India to discharge their duties, functions and obligations assigned under Article 320. The UPSC conducts various examinations in accordance with the Rules of examination as notified by the Government of India in a just, fair and impartial manner for making a merit-based selection and recommendation of candidates for various Group A and Group B Services of the Govt. of India. Eligibility:

The educational qualification needed to appear for UPSC Examination is Graduation in any subject recognized by UGC.

Age Limit & Attempts:

The minimum age to appear for UPSC is 21 years, and upper age limit, number of attempts for various categories are as follows.
General 32 Years 06 Attempts
OBC 35 Years 09 Attempts
SC/ST 37 Years Unlimited attempt till age limit
